Hollywood turned out in droves this weekend to support the onePULSE Foundation, which helps survivors of the Pulse nightclub massacre in Orlando. With an introduction from Lance Bass — who partied at Pulse when he lived in Orlando — and a performance from Stevie Wonder, it was a night to remember. Pulse owner Barbara Poma was in attendance, along with survivors of the shooting.
"It wasn't until the aftermath of the tragedy that I realized many of our goals had not only been reached, but also exceeded beyond my expectations," Poma said at the event, held at the NeueHouse nightclub in Los Angeles. "I was overwhelmed by the thousands of Pulse stories people around the world shared with me — the love stories, the funny stories, and the life-changing coming-out stories."
Aside from Poma, Bass, and Wonder, the Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am was at the event, along with pop star Jessie J, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, out actor Matt Bomer, and Caitlyn Jenner. A video message from Hillary Clinton also played at the fundraiser. To donate money to the onePULSE Foundation, text "PULSE" to 91999.
