It was hard to beat Day 1 of L.A. Pride's Pride in the Park 2023, June 9-10, and there was definitely something for everyone on each day. Day 1 saw Megan Thee Stallion take the main stage. Mariah Carey — yes, that Mariah Carey — took to the stage on Day 2 to serenade her queer fans.
"I'm thrilled and honored to be a part of LA Pride 2023," Carey said. "I am happy to be back in person celebrating with the LGBTQIA+ community here in Southern California and throughout all of the lands. Let's come together to celebrate love, inclusion, and Pride."
Other performers on June 10 included King Princess, Violet Chachki, Gottmik, Sasha Colby, Jenevieve, Vincint, Mad Tsai, and Minke.
The multi-stage concert experience Pride in the Park is hosted by Christopher Street West Association (CSW) – the nonprofit that’s produced the iconic LA Pride celebration for more than 50 years. CSW organized the first recognized Pride parade ever in 1970 in remembrance of the 1969 Stonewall riots.
