Raging
Grannies, a group of peaceful protesters who have long riled
up the press over human rights issues, took to the streets
of Palo Alto last weekend -- singing "Here Comes the
Bride" and speaking out against Prop. 8. They'll be on
the streets in Mountain View this weekend for the
nationwide protest. Photo by R. Robertson for IndyBay.org.

Long Beach Gears Up for a Fight
Will Long Beach
stand up to H8 once again this weekend?
Last week, Long
Beach LGBT's and their allies took to the streets in
record numbers. Here, Suja Lowenthal, 2nd District
Councilwoman (Long Beach), grabs a bullhorn from rally
organizer Brian Frederick in an effort to encourage
protestors to lead a positive demonstration.
Here, a young
protestor spends his time making signs at Hot Java. The
Long Beach coffee house has become protest central.
