Comic Carol Leifer Working on Two Sitcoms

Comedian and writer Carol Leifer has a lot on her plate in the coming months. Leifer, whose prior television writing experience includes a memorable episode of Seinfeld, has TV shows in the works with both CBS and Showtime.

Marlee Matlin, who recently costarred on The L Word and worked with Leifer on the memorable "Lip Reader" episode of Seinfeld, will star in the Showtime series with out comic Mario Cantone, a fixture in the Sex and the City series as well as the upcoming sequel.

The CBS show, tentatively titled You and Me and He, is about a recently divorced woman who enters a gay relationship only to find out she's pregnant with her ex-husband's baby, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
