Comic Carol Leifer Working on Two Sitcoms

Comedian and writer Carol Leifer has a lot on her plate in the coming months. Leifer, whose prior television writing experience includes amemorable episode of Seinfeld, has TV shows in the works with both CBS and Showtime.

Marlee Matlin, who recently costarred on The L Word and worked with Leifer on the memorable "Lip Reader" episode of Seinfeld, will star in the Showtime series with out comic Mario Cantone, a fixture in the Sex and the City series as well as the upcoming sequel.

The CBS show, tentatively titled You and Me and He, is about a recently divorced woman who enters a gay relationship only to find out she's pregnant with her ex-husband's baby, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
