The first same-sex pair to compete in any global version of Dancing With the Stars has been eliminated from competition.
Television broadcaster Gili Shem Tov, who is a married lesbian, lasted three weeks with straight professional dancer Dorit Milman on Israel's version of the show, according to JTA.
On the first episode of the show November 1, Shem Tov said dancing with a female partner felt natural to her anyway.
"I have realized that dance is about coordination and energy between two people, whether female or male," Tov said in the article. "Because I share my life with a woman and have a family with her, to me this is the most natural thing to do."
