Young right-wing columnist Ben Shapiro has a new book called Primetime Propaganda, in which he writes that shows like Friends, MacGyver, and Sesame Street carry subtle messages that condone liberal causes like gun control and gay rights.
Shapiro claims that in researching the book he caught many Hollywood executives in "gotcha moments" where they admitted their liberal bias. Regarding Sesame Street, Shapiro says, "Sesame Street tried to tackle divorce, tackled 'peaceful conflict resolution' in the aftermath of 9/11 and had Neil Patrick Harris on the show playing the subtly-named 'fairy shoeperson.'"
