Top Dems Slam Trump for Promoting Violence Against Women

Biden and Feinstein

Few are laughing at President Trump's latest Twitter disgrace, where he retweeted a GIF this weekend showing him hitting a golf ball at Hillary Clinton that knocked her to the ground.

“Every one of us should be offended by the vindictive and candidly dangerous messages the president sends that demean not only Secretary Clinton, but all women," Senator Dianne Feinstein of California said in a statement. She also condemned the tweet — originally posted by an anti-Semitic Twitter troll — as "apalling and disgusting"

Barbara Boxer, the recently-retired California senator, also released a statement on the GIF.

Former Vice President Joe Biden, a longtime advocate of women's issues, shared the senators' sentiment.
