In uncertain times, New Yorkers brought joy, resistance, and companion animals to celebrate Pride.

NYC Pride

With an expected 40,000 people marching, and 2 million people watching, New Yorkers lived the motto of this year’s parade “We Are Proud.” And, for the first time, ABC joined forces with the New York City Pride March and televised the event in a live feed so people could watch at home. Mayor Bill de Blasio, Sen. Chuck Schumer, and actor Michael Urie can be spotted in the photos here provided by Miguel Angel Reyes.
