Thanks to Rhode Island Pride for sharing photos of their 43rd Annual RI Pride Celebration. Recently ranked as one of the top 10 Pride Celebrations in the World, by National Geographic, they saw record numbers of guests visit the city of Providence for the RI PrideFest and New England's only Illuminated Night Parade. Over 85,000+ were in attendance. The RI PrideFest had 200 vendors, a main stage of entertainment, Hasbro Kid's Zone, HiRoad Ferris Wheel, Youth Zone, and more.
The City came to life at night when the parade took over the streets of Providence, all culminating at the reviewing area at the Providence Performing Arts Center. There were 4 huge block parties and all the businesses, hotels, and restaurants took part in the celebration. Providence definitely was the gayest city in the northeast this past weekend.
