Delray Beach police released video of a driver intentionally burning tire marks on a mural that has been vandalized twice before.
A viral video shows him burning tire marks into the pavement. The painting had been unveiled a day earlier as a memorial to those lost in the 2016 Pulse massacre.
"This important bill will close a glaring loophole in state law that allows defendants to avoid hate crime charges even though their actions were motivated by prejudice."
It’s the second time the intersection, dedicated to survivors and victims of the Pulse massacre, has been defaced.
