Jeff Locker's acclaimed gay romance makes its digital debut on The Advocate.

Jeff Locker's short-form stage play Sweet, He offers a bit of gay romance that the world needs right now. The digital version of the staging premieres exclusively on The Advocate.

The story offers two different perspectives of how Cory and Fernando met; one says they greeted each other at a wedding while the other reveals it was a 2 a.m. Grindr hookup. In either story, it seems the two men instantly knew this was something morethan another "temporary boyfriend," though both tried to fight it.

Sweet, He stars Aleckx Bodhi and Locker. It was also written by Locker and directed by Jeffrey Reddick. The eight-minute short was a Gala Finalist in Short+Sweet Hollywood 2019, the world's largest short play festival cosponsored by NBC Universal. Locker's other short and a companion piece, Sweet, She, won Best Production and Best Actress honors at the same festival.
