Bruce LaBruce: Fashion Without Apologies (Photos)

Actor, writer, filmmaker, photographer, and underground adult director Bruce LaBruce has packed an enormous amount of creative output into his 52 years. Most certainly, his legendary status deserves a fashion line.

Fashion editor and collage artist Damien Blottière has collaborated with LaBruce and Print All Over Me in the creation of an exclusive apparel collection. 

Blottière was given free reign to use LaBruce’s visual material spanning across his extensive career, including photographs, film stills, movie posters, and Polaroids as a basis project-specific collages. The collages consist of 12 works that offer surreal displays of sexual scenarios, tensions, and embodiments, “transmogrifying the subjects into some kind of gendernauts of porn future.” Textual overlays command queercore manifestations from LaBruce’s iconic writings.

The collection consists of 20 unisex designs, including a bomber jacket, T-shirts, thermal tops, sweaters, button-down shirt, windbreaker, polo shirt, and accessories.
