Chris Colfer Tops New York Times Best Sellers List

Actor Chris Colfer can now add best-selling author to his impressive list of achievements as his first book The Land of Stories is poised to debut at the top of the New York Times list of best sellers.

The Glee star expressed his joy at the honor, by tweeting, "#TheLandOfStories is debuting at #1 on the New York Times Best Seller's list!!! Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this. Thank you!!!"

NYT describes Colfer's debut book as "a fairy tale homage" but adds this "is no place for young children." Struck By Lightning, a black comedy adapted from the actor's first screenplay, is scheduled to be released in theaters in December.
