Jennifer Westfeldt, still best known as an actress for playing the lez-curious single lady in Kissing Jessica Stein, writes and directs this talky ensemble comedy about two longtime friends who decide to go halves on a baby. A bevy of Bridesmaids costars, including Westfeldt’s boyfriend Jon Hamm, Maya Rudolph, Chris O’Dowd, and the great Kristen Wiig do what they can to elevate the sometimes shrill material.
