Protesters of a gay day celebration in Grand Rapids, Mich., were caught on camera threatening to rape members of a local LGBT human rights organization.

Members of the Tolerance, Equality, and Awareness Movement (TEAM), report receiving death threats and rape threats in reaction to Cherry Park's first Gay Day last Saturday. The organization called on local police to protect LGBT residents after protesters read verses from the Bible and threatened to rape a woman who was attending Gay Day.

A new boycott has been launched after it was discovered that Doug DeVos, co-owner of health and beauty company Amway, has given $500,000 to the antigay National Organization for Marriage.

The Doug and Maria DeVos Foundation gave to several schools and organizations like Michigan State University and the Make A Wish Foundation. They also donated an unrestricted $500,000 grant to the National Organization for Marriage Education Fund, tax records recently revealed.
