Arizona is not known for being the most accepting state, but you wouldn't know that at this month's Tucson Pride. A diverse group of locals and supporters — at least 1,500 — showed up to celebrate all things LGBT in Arizona's second-largest city. A mass wedding took place at the festival at Kino Stadium, while drag star Tempest DuJour held court as emcee and grand marshal; DuJour was joined in her GM duties by Amanda Simpson, the deputy assistant secretary of defense for operational energy at the U.S. Department of Defense.
Thank you to Tucson Pride for the following photos.
