 Variety reports that out actor Alec Mapa (Some of My Best Friends) has been cast in an untitled new ensemble comedy for the FX cable network. Paul Reiser will star in the New York-based show, which also stars Jennifer Westfeldt (Kissing Jessica Stein), Amy Sedaris, Mark McKinney (of the Kids in the Hall), and Max Beesley (Glitter).

        Global pop star Demi Lovato will perform at the 37th annual GLAAD Media Awards on March 5 in Los Angeles, with actor and producer Jonathan Bennett returning to host a ceremony that will stream exclusively on Hulu later this month, GLAAD announced Monday.
