French star Isabelle Huppert (8 Women, Entre Nous) will play a 19th-century Polish diva who gives up her world to start a utopian commune in California in a screen adaptation of Susan Sontag's In America, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The English-language film is set to shoot in the United States next year, although no director has yet been attached.
