Andy Cohen had some choice words for podcast host-turned conservative political influencer Joe Rogan.
On Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Rogan’s name came up when he was speaking with reality TV star Kristin Cavallari about her fellow The Hills alum Spencer Pratt’s bid for mayor of Los Angeles.
Cavallari admitted that she initially thought he was joking when he announced he was running in the upcoming election. “I was shocked, obviously, I think at first like everybody else, but if you actually listen to him, he knows his stuff,” she said.
“I honestly could see him winning. People in California really are excited about him,” the 39-year-old actress added.
“By the way, kind of seems like he’s going to win,” Cohen replied.
But when Cavallari mentioned that Rogan already endorsed Pratt on his podcast last week, Cohen couldn’t bite his tongue.
“Oh, Rogan! The great mind of the universe,” Cohen sarcastically responded.
“F--king Rogan,” he continued. “What a f--king idiot.”
Cohen joked that he’d “had enough to drink” before Cavallari asked, “What’s the back story on that one?”
“I listen to what he says. I made my own opinion,” Cohen responded.
Rogan endorsed Pratt during an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, where he told the newly minted politician, “Listen, man, I’m voting for you," before clarifying that he can’t actually vote for Pratt because he currently lives in Texas. “I can’t vote for you, but I’m rooting for you. I mean, if I lived in Los Angeles, no question whatsoever, I would vote for you,” Rogan said.
Pratt later posted a photo with Rogan on Facebook captioned, “My goal is to make LA so awesome, we can win him back from Texas.”
Pratt named the experience of losing his home in the 2025 Palisades fire and the response from politicians as his reason for joining the mayoral race. He has been openly critical of both Mayor Karen Bass and California Gov. Gavin Newsom for not doing more to prevent the fire.
