Little Britain star to play Alfred Hitchcock

The [London] Mirror reports that out actor Matt Lucas, half of the popular Little Britain comedy troupe, will play Alfred Hitchcock in an upcoming film. The as-yet-untitled film, which will costar Ewan McGregor, will cover Hitchcock's early years in the East End of London. It is thought that the film will prevent Lucas, 31, from taking on a fourth season of Little Britain with collaborator David Walliams. (Advocate.com)
