A new pool
cue endorsed by Sopranos actor Joseph
Gannascoli and branded with the title "A Cue to Die For"
is no longer on the market, according to the company
distributing the cues.
The decision by
Oregon-based Rockwell Billards to withdraw the product
comes on the heels of a strongly worded condemnation
by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against
Defamation criticizing the company for marketing the
cues. On The Sopranos, Gannascoli played a
mobster who was sodomized and beaten to death with a pool
cue because he was discovered to be gay. (The
