Decked out in an American flag bikini and wielding a musket, lesbian film icon and Bound star Gina Gershon teamed up with spoof website Funny or Die to skewer vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin.
Gershon, who is known for her outspoken criticism of the Bush administration, nails Palin's accent and mannerisms as she explains away the banning of books, her lack of experience, and John McCain's decision to add her to the ticket after meeting with her just once.
Among Gershon's diatribes: blaming her banning of the book Are You There God, It's Me Margaret? on the fact that the title even bothers to ask the question.
Later, she suggests global warming is a sham because "every morning I open my door in Anchorage and it is freezing. End of experiment."
Gershon's political spoof comes just a month after Funny or Die and Paris Hilton teamed up to respond to McCain's accusations that Barack Obama is a victim of his own fame, likening him to the celebutante and pop star Britney Spears. (The Advocate)
