And the home of the brave, indeed. San Francisco's Donna Sachet made
history last week when she became the first drag performer to sing the
national anthem at a Major League Baseball game.
Sachet sang at the September 29 home game of the San Francisco Giants. A community activist, Sachet also serves on the board for Equality California and the International Court Council of the Imperial Court System.
The Giants won the game, 8-4, against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
