Adam Lambert brought it down a notch - the theatrics, not the eye make-up - and sang live on Wednesday night's So You Think You Can Dance.

Moments after his performance of the song "What Do You Want From Me", E! Online blogger Mark Malkin tweeted that he was "pretty incredible" while judge Adam Shankman said he'd made him cry.
