Ted Haggard, the antigay former pastor of New Life Church who confessed to paying a male prostitute, has scheduled a news conference to make an announcement regarding the next step in his career Wednesday morning.
According to the Associated Press, "The announcement from the evangelical pastor who fell from grace amid a sex scandal is planned Wednesday at Haggard's Colorado Springs home, three weeks after Haggard said he had filed incorporation papers for a new church."
Last month, Haggard and his wife Gayle said the new church, called the St. James, was strictly for accounting purposes, but did not reject the possibility it could become a membership church one day.
The announcement is planned to take place from Haggard's home in Colorado Springs, Colo.
