The nature of the long friendship between late actors Cary Grant and Randolph Scott gets examined in a Village Voice blog. Columnist Michael Musto posted a letter from a reader along with numerous photos of the two men, who never publicly identified as gay or bisexual, but were roommates for a period in the 1930s. "For several years [the two actors] shared a beach house in Santa Monica, as well as a mansion in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles, which was commonly referred to in the press as 'Bachelor Hall,'" Musto writes. Grant and Scott even posed for a series of photographs together, depicting them lounging in their home reading and sitting next to each other on the diving board of their swimming pool.
