Coldplay's Chris Martin joked that the all-male pop band Take That caused him to question his sexual orientation as a teenager.
The Sun reports that while Martin presented an award to Take That's Gary Barlow during the Q awards on Monday, he spoke for a moment about his favorite bands as a teenager. "U2 and five handsome, strapping men from Stoke and Manchester," Martin told the crowd. "I'm not afraid to admit it, they made me ask the question, 'Am I gay?'"
U2's drummer Larry Mullen Jr. later joked that Martin, who is married to Gwyneth Paltrow, had been right to question his sexuality, saying, "Chris Martin, I have the answer for you -- you are gay."
