Playing a high school outcast in his feature film debut Struck By Lightning, Chris Colfer doesn't venture too far from the comfort zone of Kurt, his character on Glee.

21-year-old Colfer, who also wrote the screenplay for the film, stars as Carson, a student so desperate to attend Northwestern University that he resorts to blackmail his popular classmates into helping make his literary magazine a success. The film costars Mad Men's Christina Hendricks, Allison Janney, Dermot Mulroney, and The Office's Angela Kinsey. The film hasn't yet been scheduled for release, but the trailer leaked and you can watch it below.
