Pride St. Charles has only been celebrating for three years, but it continues to grow.
The organizers of Pride St. Charles in Missouri stated on their site: “In 2015, we held the first ever LGBTQ Festival in St. Charles County. Originally planned to be a small picnic, word spread throughout the community and suddenly became a festival that attracted over 3500 attendees and over 100 exhibitors. We are proud and excited to say that our second annual festival on June 18, 2016 was another huge success doubling first year attendance numbers!”
And that was based on just the first two years. The good news is that smaller cities like St. Charles, Mo., with about 70,000 residents, can support a great festival. If you live in a smaller city, be inspired.
Thanks to the talented folks at The Vital Voice for the great photos here.
