Ok, it got a little rainy, but those umbrellas came in handy to block the antigay protesters signs when the sun came out according to the Iowa Press Citizen.

Iowa City Pride and scores of eastern Iowa LGBTQ community groups and businesses and many citizens and supporters joined a diverse all-star cast of entertainers for the 49th Annual Iowa City Pride Fest and Parade 2019, this most recent Saturday. So many new things happened this year, including parade floats, a new parade route, a new Family Fun Space, a Pride Fashion Show, and more. Read all about it on Facebook here.
