Get ready, all you Queer as Folk fans. Remember creator Russell T. Davies, the man who brought the gay drama across the pond in the '90s in those pioneering days before gays were ubiquitous on television? He's at it again with a new series in development -- the unfortunately titled Cucumbers -- that promises to give television viewers "more intimate views of the lives of gay men," according to CinemaBlend.com. (No mention of whether it'll offer a token lesbian couple as well.)

While details are hard to come by on this pre-pre-production, most TV experts say a Davies project is sure to get the red carpet treatment at Showtime, the network where he practically invented the homodramedy genre (not to mention helming one of its most successful original series).

Of course, right now all eyes are on Davies's most recent project, Torchwood: Miracle Day, which premieres tonight on the Starz network.
