BBC News reports that the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts has licensed images of Warhol's art to be used on bed linens, dinnerware, wallpaper, jewelry, greeting cards, and other consumer goods. The arrangement between the foundation and the Beanstalk Group, a licensing company that promotes Coca-Cola and Harley-Davidson, among others, was announced Tuesday. Proceeds from the licensing of the gay artist's work would be used by the foundation to provide funding for the arts, according to Beanstalk.
