BOOKS: Gods of the Stadium

The first Dieux du Stade calendar, published in 2001, was a savvy way to both support charity and draw a new audience for French rugby. The folks who produce the variety of products under the Dieux du Stade brand have always kept it in the best of taste and drool-worthy at the same time. Photographers like Steven Klein and Peter Lindbergh have kept the brand top drawer (right next to the underwear.) And now the good news is there is a new, beautifully produced book that visually celebrates 15 years of their work and reminds you why athletics are so important.
