"Gay Pride is too restrictive," the organizers of Antwerp Pride told Gazet Van Antwerpen in an interview Saturday. "Everyone is invited. We pride ourselves in our open, diverse, vibrant city." And that sentiment played out in the variety of cultures participating in and observing the festivities.
