"Safer Sex
In the City," a fund-raiser for the AIDS Service
Center NYC, will be held June 14 at the Museum of Sex
in New York City. The event will include a pre-event
reception featuring music by Dirty Martini, hors
d'oeuvres, and a champagne toast; a dance party
featuring DJs Jackie Christie and John Mallow, plus a
special performance by burlesque star World Famous
Bob; a silent auction; and safer-sex demonstration tables
staffed by center staff members. The pre-event reception
will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.; the main
event will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. General
admission tickets are $35 in advance and $50 at the door.
VIP tickets are $150 per person or $250 per couple. The
Museum of Sex is located at 233 5th Ave. in Manhattan.
