The New York Times takes a look at the long-running Habibi dance 
party, which has been bringing New York's Arabic gay men together for nine years.
The party often shifts from nightclub to nightclub but is now at Club Rush in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood. The party is one of few gatherings geared exclusively toward gay and bisexual men of Arabic descent -- men who face an inordinate amount of discrimination and hostility from family members and religious leaders over their orientation. 
"In New York there's nowhere I can come to and cry, so to speak," a 27-year-old man from Saudi Arabia told the Times. "Habibi is a welcoming community."
