The highly visible but only recently out Darren Star, creator and executive producer of HBOs ever-popular Sex and the City, has optioned the rights to Shutterbabe: Adventures in Love and War, the memoir penned by Deborah Copaken Kogan. Kogan, a noted photojournalist, names each chapter of the book for a different man who is somehow involved in her life or career. Star intends to write, produce, and possibly even direct when he turns the book into a film, reports syndicated columnist Liz Smith.
