The New York Post reports that producer Lester Persky is collaborating with Aurelio DeLaurentiis of Filmauro Films to develop Handcarved Coffins, the Truman Capote novella, into a movie. Persky purchased the property from Capote years ago, after the novella was serialized in Andy Warhols Interview magazine.
