Darren Stein gets Virgin

Out filmmaker Darren Stein (Jawbreaker, Sparkler) will write and direct Like a Virgin, a comedy about a girl who launches a back-to-virginity movement in her high school and unexpectedly becomes a national celebrity. Ironically, the film will be coproduced by Madonna and Guy Oseary's Maverick Films (along with Splendid Pictures and Untitled Entertainment). Fans will recall that Like a Virgin was the name of Madonna's second album--no word yet on whether she will participate as producer, actor, or soundtrack contributor.
