Angelina Jolie to play the mother of Alexander

Oliver Stone has cast Angelina Jolie to play the mother of bisexual conqueror Alexander the Great in Alexander, reports Variety. The Tomb Raider star will play Olympias opposite Colin Farrell, who plays the title role. No word yet on casting for Phillip, father of Alexander. Jolie recently discussed past same-sex relationships in an interview with Barbara Walters on ABC's 20/20.
