 Variety reports that out producers Dan Jinks and Bruce Cohen (American Beauty, Down With Love) have bought a pitch from 23-year-old film school graduate Jon Chu. Chu's pitch, Moxie, is a musical that is described as a San Francisco-set urban love story. Chu is already making waves in Hollywood; he is currently set to direct a remake of Bye Bye Birdie for Columbia Pictures.
