Janet Jackson to portray Lena Horne for Zadan and Meron

Janet Jackson will star in a two-hour musical TV movie about Lena Horne for out producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron's Storyline Entertainment, reports Variety. Storyline will coproduce the film, based on Horne's autobiography Lena, with ABC and Sony Pictures Television. In addition to starring as Horne, Jackson will provide her own vocals when singing Horne's classic songs. The film is tentatively set to air in May 2004.
