The Adam Sandler-Kevin James comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, about two straight firemen who enter into a same-sex marriage for the insurance benefits, is without a director. Variety reports that David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers) has parted ways with the production after differing with Universal regarding the overall vision for the film. The studio hopes to keep the film, written by Alexander Payne and Jim Taylor (Sideways), on track to begin shooting in August. (Advocate.com)
