When Red Hot + Blue debuted in 1991, it was one of rock music's first major AIDS benefit projects, featuring megastars like U2, k.d. lang, Annie Lennox, Erasure, David Byrne, and many more. For the project's 15th anniversary, Shout! Factory is releasing a CD-DVD reissue of the original album and its videos, hitting stores Tuesday, April 25. Proceeds continue to benefit the Red Hot Organization; for more information visit www.redhot.org. (The Advocate)
