A New York City judge sentenced Boy George Tuesday to five days of community service with the city's sanitation department. The sentence stems from George's guilty plea in March to false reporting of an incident when he called police about a bogus burglary last October, only to have authorities find cocaine in his apartment. "He will be part of our team," sanitation spokesman Keith Mellis told the Associated Press. "We won't know exactly what he will be doing for several weeks, though." George must accomplish his five days of service before August 28 or face jail time, per Manhattan criminal court judge Anthony Ferrara. (The Advocate)
