Picture This Entertainment has acquired North American rights to A Love to Hide (Un Amour a Taire), Christian Faure's French film that tied for the Audience Award at this year's Outfest Film Festival in Los Angeles. The film is a World War II love story about two gay men that help hide a Jewish woman, ultimately leading to their own deaths. The film explores the fate of gays and lesbians in occupied France and the similarities to the persecution suffered by the Jewish people.

"This picture depicts an important yet terrifying period in the history of gay people and all others who suffered under hatred and intolerance," said Picture This president Douglas Witkins in The Hollywood Reporter. "It should be a permanent and prominent component of everyone's film collection so [that] as we celebrate our personal freedoms, we never forget the not-too-distant past." (The Advocate)
