Ellen DeGeneres's
property in Montecito, Calif., is on the market for $24
million, according to celebrity real estate blog Big Time
Listings. She purchased the home less than six months
ago for $15.75 million before deciding to
"flip" the property.
The
5,000-square-foot Spanish Colonial estate was originally
built in 1926 by renowned architect George Washington
Smith and was renovated a few years ago. It features
cathedral ceilings as well as a mahogany wet bar, wine
cellar, billiards room, library, and office, according to
the listing's information. The master suite alone
measures 1,300 square feet. According to The
Wall Street Journal, DeGeneres performed
additional renovations and extensive landscaping.
