announces art-house production company

POWER UP!--Professional Organization of Women in Entertainment Reaching Up--a nonprofit, volunteer-run group whose mission is to promote the visibility and integration of gay women in the arts, announced Wednesday the launch of Pocket Releasing, a new division that will distribute gay and lesbian art-house projects.

Josephine Hunt-Korn, who previously worked with Warner Bros. International Home Video, will head up Pocket Releasing. The first film slated for release by the company is Itty Bitty Titty Committee, Jamie Babbit's award-winning film. (The Advocate)
