Out producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron's latest project has been given the green light by TNT. Family Man is a one-hour drama starring William H. Macy as a upstanding father by day and a hapless gang leader by night, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Macy and director Steven Schachter wrote the script. They will executive-produce along with Zadan and Meron.
Macy and Schachter's history with the network include the 2002 Emmy award-winning TV movie Door to Door, and the Emmy-nominated film The Wool Cap.
Family Man is the second pilot green-lit this year by TNT, according to the report. The other is an untitled legal drama by Steven Bochco starring Jane Kaczmarek and Mark-Paul Gosselaar. (The Advocate)
