Madonna may leave behind her longtime recording company, Warner Music Group, for concert titan Live Nation. The deal would swap her arrangements for recorded music, touring, merchandising, and other business concerns, according to TheHollywood Reporter.
Live Nation's touring division chairman, Arthur Fogel, has produced the pop star's last three world tours, grossing a combined $400 million.
Live Nation is the globe's largest live-event producer and venue operator.
The company's CEO, Michael Rapino, has expressed interest to form longer-term relationships with artists, according to the report. The rumored offer to Madonna is $180 million, with the company potentially licensing the recording rights for $30 million. (The Advocate)
